The rain held off and the sun shone for the parade from the Town Hall to Bridge Street War Memorial where a service of remembrance was held and wreaths were laid by representatives of local groups and organisations. Also in attendance were 60 soldiers from REME and (as has become something of a tradition) Marcus Barton performed a flyover in the Tiger Moth.
