We are delighted that the majority of our local businesses have now reopened their doors. We welcome back custom and encourage your support for our local traders through these challenging times. The new safety measures that West Berkshire Council put in place along High Street and Bridge Street seem to be working well.

The attached plan shows where the new signage and ground markings were placed, along with the location of the suspended parking spaces.

A variety of posters available to businesses to help guide their customers around their shop safely, are being supplied free of charge. These are available to collect from Hungerford Town Council office on Fridays between 9am and 12 noon and on Mondays between 9.30am and 11.30am. If you cannot make these times please email admin@hungerford-tc.gov.uk and we will arrange a drop off.

We are continuing to press for a reduction in the speed limit to 20mph of which many traders and residents have expressed support.
