I moved from Bristol to Hungerford in Feb 2017 with my wife to be nearer to our two daughters. Our eldest lives in London. The youngest is in Wroughton and she works in Hungerford.

After working many years as a part-time youth worker, I gained my Youth and Community Worker Certificate in 1981. I have since spent 6 years as a full-time youth worker during the 1980's. Then I trained youngsters in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme up to gold level in expedition and then did voluntary conservation work for many years until about 10 years ago.

As I am now retired, I have again taken to working with young people and need to see them advance themselves and have a good life. Being a Hungerford Councillor helps me to broaden my horizons, but still be able to focus on young people in Hungerford. I am also a Trustee at the Hungerford Youth and community Centre. I am fast becoming part of the fabric of Hungerford and intent to stay
