David (Dave) Reeves lives in Hungerford. I have previously lived in various places in the Southeast, but mostly in Oxfordshire and I am pleased to be firmly putting down roots in Hungerford, which has been a dream since first visiting the town many years ago.

I was born in East London, as a teenager moving out to the Essex border. I am the owner of a Business Consultancy firm specialising in the Leisure and Hospitality Industry. I have my business headquarters on Charnham Street.

In my early years, I managed gyms for a national chain, and I still love fitness. Running is big part of my life and the only thing that I don’t like about Hungerford is having to run up its many hills! Great views though!

In terms of work for the council, a big passion of mine is “Social ecology” which is the study of how people interact with and respond to the environment around them, and how these interactions affect society and the environment as a whole. With this passion I hope to make sure that Hungerford is kept looking great, as it currently does and remains a fabulous and welcoming place to live.
