I moved to Hungerford from Somerset two years ago and now, with more time on my hands, I am keen to get involved locally and assist in the local council. I have previously volunteered for the Parent and Teachers’ Association at my children's primary school in Nether Stowey, Somerset. Here I helped organise school events and fundraising. I also volunteered with the Bridgwater Amateur Swimming Club for three years. I was very much involved in the running of the club and I was also in charge of their PR, website and databases.
